U.S. Health Policy

Prior to my faculty position in global health policy, I had already established a large body of applied research in domestic health policy. As the Public Health Law Manager at Columbia University’s Center for Health Policy, I developed a series of domestic studies on emergency preparedness law, health care-associated infection law, state public health law reform, and the legal authorities of health departments. While transitioning from domestic to global research, I have continued to contribute to domestic health law where it intersects with human rights law and global health law, advancing global health scholarship within the larger public health law community.
