This quarterly column on “Global Health Law” in the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics features timely analyses and perspectives on law, policy, and justice in global health. Given the expansion of public health law scholarship to encompass the legal frameworks that structure global health, this column analyzes contemporary advances in the theory, research, and practice of global health law. This examination of contemporary advances seeks to build the research foundation for global health law reforms, address evidence-based legal interventions that promote public health, and explore the normative influence of human rights in global health.
